[quote="fyi"]Mayor's Update - October 12, 2021 Dear Cranbury Residents, I hope your fall is going well. We are pleased that COVID-19 cases are down in New Jersey and we can look forward to the leaves changing and HALLOWEEN! Because Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, Chief Owens was able to get Main Street closed from 4-8 p.m. to allow for more space and safer pedestrian flow. Township Meeting: Lake Dredging Status. At last night’s Township Committee meeting, we provided an update on the Lake Dredging Project. The fish were safely relocated to Mill Pond last week, and this week the DEP-approved lake lowering will be completed. Dredging activities will begin next week. Residents may notice an unpleasant odor as dead algae and other decaying matter are exposed. The rain garden (bio-retention basin) is adjacent to the construction site and will be restored to its pre-construction condition after the project is completed. Please respect the construction zone and construction vehicles and have patience for any disruption or inconvenience from this every-fifty-year dredging project.
