A very sad day in Cranbury---the race was close but only slightly over 1000 folks voted so the margin of loss, of approximately 50 votes, was still a close race. Thank you Joe for trying to make a difference-------------- |
I don't want to hear anyone complain now. Everyone had the chance to vote. This town just votes for the party not the person. Joe would have made a difference. Please tell me what Matt Scott has done. Even during the debate he had no idea what to say and would only comment after Joe and use all Joe's ideas. Well at least there are more cops in town pulling people over because of Joe. Joe did more for the town in one debate then Scott or Ferrante did in years. |
Curious about more cops because of Joe? Since when did we hire more cops? Same number of cops since I’ve lived here. |
Didnt say anything about hiring more cops. Just MORE cops pulling people over. Get it? |

Was the debate recorded on zoom? Is it available in any other format?
Did Joe Buonavolonta's views on the library funding or diversity come up? |

There was no mention of Matt Scott resigning after he is possibly elected but according to his past public statements he does not want to be on the committee any longer. The very strong possibility that he would cede his seat to another Democrat based on the agenda of this stacked committee is significant. All they want are photo ops and a chance to better their political careers. One committee member in particular is positioning herself for higher state office. She is associating herself with the present members of the assembly and senate and is on the road to higher office if the "Force" is with her! Make no mistake the Cranbury you knew as a child is GONE!!! |

Was the issue of a candidate running and dropping out if he wins and turning the seat over to someone. It elected raised during the candidate’s night debate? |

No one buys the Cranbury Press anymore and no other paper cares. There is no news at all on Cranbury. |

This was a very short synopsis and missed many of the most very important subjects discussed. Shame on you Andrew Harrison we need a conscientious reporter not someone just writing to fill up a column. The reporting on Cranbury is abysmal. This reporter just sucks up to the committee for stories and doesn't dig for the truth. Too bad we don't have the old Cranbury Press. At least they told us every week what was happening in town. We are in a news information DESERT because we are so small! |

Many independents don't go either. I've voted locally for candidates in both parties, frankly probably skewing in the direction opposite of how I most frequently vote in state and federal elections.
How divisions based on 'party lines' have become this divisive in a small town is disappointing. No engagement of candidates via door to door visits and a candidate's night that has lost its value. SMH. |

People get what people vote for. No one runs for the Republicans so the Dems just put up whoever they want. The town is run by Ferrante and the administrator. Joe is running for like his 10th time. I am voting for him as how many times can someone run and lose. No one knocks on doors, candidates night is a joke just supporters of the candidates, and even rude at that with the last zoom I watched fans of the Dems were chatting about how great their candidate was during the debate. The Republicans don’t even go any more. |

Matt Scott has been "holding the place" all of this term. He is Ferrante's yes man. Look at the minutes from all the meetings Matt Scott has missed. The gang we now have "Leading" our community is really the worst Committee I have seen as a Lifetime resident of Cranbury. They all vote the party line and don't have any self respect to speak their minds on things that need thoughtful discussion and they refuse to have any "Public" discussion. They all look for the OK from Ferrante and vote only the party line. This is a very sad time for Cranbury Politics--------- |
