Post subject: Good Place to get an in-cabinet microwave replacement?
I'd appreciate any recommendations on a good place to get a replacement for our broken microwave. In is an in-cabinet unit with a trim kit so its not easily done at the local Best Buy, etc.
We've already tried, patiently, to work with H&H based on previous recommendations and found them to be incredibly unprofessional and frustrating.
We were told to ask for Ken Horowitz and spoke to him several weeks ago now. We gave him all the measurements and power requirements, etc. and he promised to call back with options that day. He never did. We called two days later and left a message. Still nothing. Tried a third time the next week and left another message. That time we hear back from someone else saying they are following up on Ken’s behalf. But they have none of the history so we start all over with our requirements and measurement and deflecting the up-sell for the features we don’t need (like a combo convention oven). He too promises to call back that day with options. And again never does. Again we call and leave a message. No follow-up. Finally, three weeks from our first call, we tried again today and got the same receptionist (who is always curt and unhelpful) who sounded exasperated that we would expect anyone to still be there at 3:45pm. She said no one was still around to help us but “someone” (as in yet a third person we could start over with) would call back tomorrow. Gee, thanks.
So hopefully we can get a fresh start with a company that actually wants our business.
Thanks for your help.
