Post subject: Tuesday, August 12th - NBC Olympic Primetime TV schedule
8:00p - 10:00p
Gold medal-contending Americans Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers play Mariano Joaquin Baracetti and Martin Alejo Conde of Argentina (LIVE ET/CT). Also, divers vie for medals on the women's 10m synchronized platform, where China has dominated at previous Olympics.
10:00p - 11:00p
Four swimming finals, and Michael Phelps contends for gold in two of them. First, the 200m fly, then the 4x200m free relay. By the end of the Beijing Games, the 23-year-old Maryland native could become one of the all-time most decorated Olympians. Katie Hoff, a product of the same Baltimore-area pool that produced Phelps, also has medal chances, in the 200m free and 200m IM (LIVE ET/CT). Plus, the final night of women's team gymnastics competition.
11:00p - 12:00a (8/13)
In the women's gymnastics team final, highly talented teenagers Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin lead the reigning world champion U.S. contingent against formidable China, among others. Also, several swim finals in which Michael Phelps and fellow American Katie Hoff have multiple medal chances (LIVE ET/CT).
