Post subject: Preschool Initiative
Preschool Initiative
The New Jersey State Department of Education has recently directed public school districts throughout the state to develop preschool programs for children whose families qualify for free and reduced lunch based on family income as defined in P.L. 2007, c. 2007, c. 260 section (12)a.. The Cranbury School District, in complying with this requirement, is currently attempting to identify residents of Cranbury, aged 3 to 5 years, who are eligible to participate in this preschool program. The full day program will be provided without cost to the family and includes transportation. If you are aware of families with preschool aged children who may qualify for this program, please direct them to contact the Cranbury School District at 609-395-1700 for further information.
