We used the following website when doing an initial round of opposition to the school consolidation plan. I think we got over 600 signatures between website & collecting signatures at the walker's door at school.
I'm happy to sign!

You should consider having the petition available online so that others in town can add their names.
I feel this issue goes far beyond Cranbury Estates as the scale and size of this Affordable Housing development which is proposed could have a negative impact on other potential builds here in Cranbury.
Let me know if I can be of assistance.

This petition was read at the October 27th TC Meeting, delivered to Town Hall on October 30th and reported on in the Cranbury Press on November 7th. So far, 75% of the households in Cranbury Estates have signed on in support of the petition.

Petition Regarding Affordable Housing at the Route 130 "D" Site
October 22nd, 2008
Regarding Cranbury Township's selection of the Route 130 "D" Site as a means to partially satisfy the Township's current third round affordable housing obligations, we, the undersigned residents, are amenable to the development of up to 29 units of affordable housing at the Route 130 "D" Site in accordance with the following specifications included in Cranbury Township's 2005 Fair Share Housing Element (A. K. A. Complete Third Round Plan):
* "vehicular access will be restricted to Route 130 (except for emergency access to Ryan Road similar to that between Silvers Lane and Griggs Road)".
* Site design will be considerate of adjacent neighborhoods "at densities and housing types consistent with the surrounding residential development".
We also request that the Route 130 "D" Site Plan include provisions for the following:
* Improved access from northbound Route 130
* Permanent open space bordering Ryan Road.
Thank you for your consideration.
