Post subject: Re: Cat Licensing Discussion at next TC Meeting
It's not ignorance. Just a loser being a loser. Scumminess. Someone who doesn't pick up their dog's waste is a slim, period. They may walk around thinking they are a good person, but that is a self-delusional illusion because their actions are fundamentally incompatible with that assessment.

If you walk around any of the parks it seems this is a bad situation. I understand people not wanting to walk around with the poop from a big dog, but that's what you get. I do it and so should they. There are plenty of trash cans to use.

On the issue of pets...
In the interest of public health, sanitation, and the reduction of ignorant behavior I would like to see a reinforcement of our existing ordinance requiring people to pick up after their dogs. This seems to be a more pervasive problem in town than rabid cats.
I just don't understand the depth of ignorance of those that can't do so. It certainly makes walking by the lake a little less enjoyable for all.

Post subject: Cat Licensing Discussion at next TC Meeting
Residents are encouraged to attend the next Township Committee meeting, on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room, 23-A North Main Street.
Dr. Daniel Notterman, Chairman of the Board of Health and Ms. Cheryl Coyle, Vice-Chairperson will be discussing with the Township Committee members the need for cat licensing.
As this is a very informative presentation, residents are encouraged to attend.
