This makes a lot of sense since the work is pretty specialized and detail oriented. I worked with Steve at Gibralter Transmissions in the past 20years for 4 different vehicles. He is extremely fair priced and offers a very good warranty on the work. They actually repair/rebuild the transmission compared to a dealer (Toyota, Ford, GM etc.) who will try to sell you a totally new part for thousands of dollars more. The cost for my latest F-150 transmission repair/rebuild was $2400. The work was excellent and done in two days.
