Gov.-elect Kim Guadagno heard the mayors put the housing council's demands at the top of their complaints about state government, and suggestions for reducing local property tax burdens. <br /> <br />Affordable housing obligations cost local taxpayers too much and usually don't result in housing being built, so "we need to pick that fight," Christie said.
