That's an insult to common sense. First, they would have done so long ago in the many years here not coincidentally right now. Second, promoting a few more comments wouldn't do any good. They would need lots of links in the post to other sites and to get those sites in turn to link to this one. Third, the particular topic that is obviously being pushed off the home page has more external links than most posts here yet it isn't getting any of these trite little replies despite being more SEO-worthy.
