I am bringing this back up top to again invite everyone to stop down at Teddy's on this Saturday , April 26 between 7 and 9 AM to chat with Chief Varga and myself on any Township issue of interest or concern. With all that is going on in town, I am sure there are a lot of questions and opinions out there from the construction projects, the budget, parking, public safety to name just a few. Coffee is on us, so please join us before you head out for the town garage sale . Hope to see you then -

So there is no confusion, the announcement for the April 26th event at Teddy's is
not
outdated but is an announcement for a second event. Chief Varga and I will be there from 7AM till 9 to answer questions and discuss items you would like to discuss. The previous event was terrific with a constant stream of residents stopping by and chatting about a wide number of issues. We hope to have the same turnout this time - April 26th. If this is something people of Cranbury like, we plan on holding these events regularly.
And you are so right about the heroics of both the police and the employee(s) of the bank. Their quick thinking not only saved a resident from possible serious harm but prevented what could have been a very damaging and dangerous fire. We should all be proud of our officers and thank the bank employees for their quick thinking and willingness to get involved. [/i]

I am confused it says the Mayor will be meeting April 26. How is that out dated? Was the meeting cancelled?
Thanks for the info on the fire. Maybe the town should recognize the officer and employee with a resolution of thanks and appreciation.
Outdated, but-740r

The April 26th meeeting with the chief and mayor is outdated.
But...... and BTW - The Cranbury police in particular as well as the Cranbury Fire Co. with surrounding fire dept. aid deserve praise for their saving of a life and the First Constitution building on Thursday last. The quick action of the police in moving the car deserves commendation. The car fire in the drive thru could have resulted in a fatality and the loss of the building. One bank employee deserves praise for action taken in removing the driver from the car!!
Well done!!!!
