The bear was eating from a bird feeder when he ran from our local animal control officer. Residents are urged not to confront the bear and to remove bird feeders, dog food and other food items from their yards. <br /> <br />Children should be warned not to make contact with the bear. The most recent sighting was yesterday Thursday, June, 19 at approximately 5:30 pm on Rt. 130.
