Post subject: Re: CRANBURY COFFEE HOUSE
Anyone attend the coffee house last night? If so, I'd be interested in hearing what you thought of the show. Although we had a pretty robust audience, mother nature did everything she could to try and put a damper on the evening. However, more than sixty hearty souls made it through the pouring rain to enjoy the music.
On Friday, December 11 the coffee house will present an evening of
ALL Children's Music
featuring Jonathan Sprout. Jonathan's show is educational in nature and the children will surely love him. Amongst his many musical accomplishments, Jonathan is credited with writing the lyrics for a song that appeared on an early Lettermen's album. Our opening act that evening will be Laurie Davis, who is a local singer/songwriter and choir director at CPNS.
The December show will start at 6:00 PM. Admission is $8 for adults with children 12 and under admitted FREE for
this show
. There will be light refreshments available at an additional cost. As usual, a portion of all coffee house event proceeds benefits the deacon's benevolence fund and local food pantry.
I guess it's now safe to say the coffee house is no longer Cranbury's best kept secret. Please continue to spread the word....
