The TC never met to reorganize so not sure about that. I think they will reorganize sometime this month.
Glenn is the Mayor now, but was in charge of fire. Jay was / is in charge of police and first aid.
I can say I am comfortable with how the TC works for the town.
Susan did very well on the lake and explaining the issues. She also was able to help the farmers market.
Dan has kids in the school and an IT background. Our website is excellent now and his work with Rec has been very good because of his ability to experience the issues.
Dave did well as Mayor and he has a finance and small business background. This has helped the planning board and taxes.
Jay has a young family, finance background and his involvement with the fire company provides perspective and understanding.
In other words we have a diverse TC where they don't have to do too much on the job training. I think this is excellent. Use each person's strength and experience. Good job TC.

Glenn Johnson
I understand that Glenn Johnson is the new Mayor and that Dan Mulligan is the Deputy Mayor. I believe Susan Goetz will be taking over the Emergency Squad's liaison on the TC from Glenn.
These changes do not appear to have been published on any Forum or in any News Release yet.

Nah, you're not a TROLL. You actually believe you're foolishness. A TROLL is someone who intentionally posts a provocative and outrageous comment just to try and illicit responses. You may hear the word Yuppie among your small insular circle of "old timers" who distrust anyone who isn't at least a third generation Cranbury resident and who think that everything that happened in the world in the last 50 years is bad. But even in Cranbury that's a tiny, dying breed. Even most of the multi-generation residents here grow-up, have kids and join the mainstream of the rest of this community and the twenty-first century. But observing your powerless, bitter rants at the world passing you by is amusing.

There are numerous media outlets throughout Middlesex and Mercer counties. I do not understand. This is unacceptable. Once it's published, anyone can google it, wherever it's published. It doesn't matter, it will get picked up.
what is acceptable??? ugh!!! why must you yuppies use that word UNACCEPTABLE???
Point of information, since a yuppie is a young urban professional and the poster lives in Cranbury he is obviously not urban. He cannot be a yuppie. Moreover, I assume he is probably not young, but middle-aged.
What word do you prefer? Also, I was unaware that unacceptable was word favored by Yuppies. How did you deduce that Sherlock? A large meta-study on verbage? Get over yourself.
To the point, it is unfortunate that the current state of print media is collapse, but as the yuppies say, c'est la vie.
hahaha - so you are saying there are NO yuppies in cranbury?? Thats not what I heard!!
I always laugh when I see the poster here who still uses the word Yuppie. Besides it being inapplicable to anyone living in Cranbury as another poster above noted, it's a phrase that hasn't really been in use for 20 years. This poster is literally stuck in 1985.

Post subject: Re: TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING RE-ORGANIZATION MEETING
I called the Trenton Times at one point a couple years ago. They told me Cranbury is not a real concern for their readers. The Cranbury Press doesn't have coverage. They met with residents at Teddy's and took zero advice. The Patch used to cover Cranbury, but they had cuts.
Sadly we as a small town aren't an interest and the papers are damaging themselves. Instead of focusing on stories that may attract readers they have done the opposite. They cut stories and then wonder why no one reads and blame the Internet.

Yes the are outlets, but they are essentially Zombie outlets. There is almost no staff. They have no reporters anymore. Reporters are no longer at most TC and school board meetings. There is almost Zero coverage of Cranbury.

Quite simply, because we have no more media outlets. I share your frustration.
