Is there any word on the new opening date for molto bene? They have been fixing it for a long time so it has to be soon? |

They weren't """"""trimmed"""""". They are being cut down.
Let's all work on minding our own business. |

Please be advised- the trees in front of 15 N Main Street were literally growing in between power lines posing a threat to utility service and posing a safety issue for pedestrians and drivers. The township was not only aware of this problem, but also happy to hear that the local business was happy to take care of it. With the approval of the Shade Tree Commission, the trees are being removed and replaced as per their guidelines by a certified arborist once the beautification project is complete in that part of town this fall. If anyone should have any concerns feel free to come to Little Owl Enrichment to discuss the plans made to maintain the beauty of this part of Main Street. We welcome any concerns from our fellow Cranbury residents! |

The reason they don't complain at the meetings is because the powers that be DO NOT LISTEN and the decisions are made by the boards and the committee because they know what is best for us! The people who tried for years to participate have given up trying to make a positive difference as it is a lost cause---Shame Shame Shame on this local government. |

okay relax if you have a problem with the size then you should have spoken up at the meeting. the "healthy''tree was not cut down by them. It was the house next door.
everyone complains in private but never in public meetings. |

I am the opposite: I park my car far away near the bank and then walk to shops or Post Office. I don't need to have a pet dog to force me to walk.
BTW, I heard that not walking-more-than-100-feet is the new smoking. |

I did hear that they have a parking deal with Sweet Water, but that will not mean anything to the neighbors. However, why wasn't there a traffic study like always required when an increased use is requested? How about increased garbage that an additional clientele will generate? The Cranbury Inn, which has the land, and has the parking went through hell and back to get approval for its addition, and this Planning Board approves the doubling in size of a restaurant in town with no parking or thought as to the other adverse impact it might cause? Obviously, this Planning Board has no brains. |

Just because they got a waiver for seats doesn't mean they can serve 108 people. Read the approvals carefully. They still have to be able to accommodate over 100 people in a tiny building. Fire, health, zoning, and construction officials will cap what the planning board should have but didn't. Maybe the most incompetent board in Cranbury. Not motto benes fault but the planning board for the worst job of planning ever. |

The number is 108 seats approved. However, that does not mean that is what they will have, just what the planning board said they could have based on their request.
With 108 seats it's double the Blue Rooster, but far from 150 tables and 300 cars.
Personally similar to my position on the library I am mixed. I like Molto Bene and feel they will be a good addition. But, with no parking I worry that the Planning Board, not Molto Bene, messed up in granting the waiver. Scott ave and Maplewood will likely see the largest impact given the location of the restaurant to that parking location. Few people will park in the lot behind Teddy's as it's further to walk. I hope I am wrong. |

I heard molte bene was approved for 150 tables in the new restaurant and that many customers will add 300 cards on main street. |

Talk to the town, Cranbury inn went through hell for parking at the mercy of "one" of the board , and this guy has 50 nonexistent parking, maybe he cut a deal with his contractor who has parking next to the bike shop"sweet water " |
