The TC addressed that the Fire Code has a room capacity of 49 people. This means if there are more than 49 people in the room they are breaking the law. Since the Fire Code is adhered to by a Twp paid Fire Official residents and the TC are putting this person in a bad position when they violate the law. <br /> <br />They stated State law requires them to hold the meeting in the room that is advertised, so they cannot simply see a large crowd and then ask people to move. <br /> <br />I've attended a few meetings in the past (Shadow Oaks Tree issue) where I had to be in the hall. If people are not talking and having side conversations then you can hear. You cannot hear the meeting if people are talking. In my view if people were in the room they would not be talking so no reason to do so in the hall. <br /> <br />I imagine if the sound is an issue that the TC will have it fixed. Is the speaker / sound working now? <br /> <br />MEETING GUIDELINES <br />When addressing the Committee, the Committee requests that the public <br />observe the following procedures to ensure that every citizen is treated <br />courteously and has an opportunity to speak: <br /> Posted room capacity of 49 must be adhered to.
