Just confirming the issue.
I too would like more info.
Apparently, the posted info about this incident by the township does not help. It just stirs more speculations...
That's the point -- the posted town info is useless. By not providing any details of merit, it just allows people to imagine whatever they want which is not productive.
In Plainsboro, West Windsor and other local towns, they publish far more details about crimes so you know whetehr you are dealing with felonies, violence, kid pranks, whatever. This could be a missing bike or a full break-in. It is silly to ask for information from people too, BTW, without even knowing what part of the street it occurred on. The stree bends and doesn't even have a straight line of sight. You could have people sending reports about cars driving by on the totally wrong area.

This is not a rumor. I suspect that it's probably a case of the owner discovering missing item(s) in the house. If it were a forced entry, there will be description of the thief(s) in the announcement.
BTW, I receive the same info from an email sent by the township.
Please read more carefully. I didn't say the event itself was a rumor. I asked for "more facts" about it, and not rumor since people tend to tell "what they have heard." My point is without more facts, this could be a truly minor incident or it may not even be established that it involved people other than those known to the household. I was wondering if anyone had said facts.

I remain skeptical unless/until they share more facts. It seems odd that there would be multiple crimes (whichever definition) like this all on this same small street disproportionate to anywhere else.
And they don't define the crime -- i.e. talking about what was taken or if there was forced entry, etc.
For all we know this is a couple cases of someone's bike left out on the street disappearing. I'm not saying that's the case, I'm simply saying there is not enough information here to form any conclusions on the scale of this issue.
Does anyone have more real facts (not rumor)?

2. illegal entry of building: an act of entering a building illegally to commit theft
Did someone really take the time to correct this?????? Buglary - robbery - who cares??? I think everyone got what it meant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I care.
Tell me honestly, will you care if you were booked on a robbery charge for committing a burglary?
