An "opportunist"-that is pretty harsh. Get a quote from him if you are leary. I would rather deal with a neighbor particuarly one who can show me the work he has done. Stasi can do that. He also does all the work himself, with one helper. So, the guy who gives you the quote follows through every hour of the job. For me, that is a good deal.
The dentist driveway is beautiful. He did a great job. I wish more people would do that kind of brickwork! I'm sure the church will look just as good.

I wonder if there is just one poster that simply takes any opportunity to bash someone local whether a restaurant or person doing a job like Joe. Only for the purpose of flaming the board.

The fact that the church hired Joe to do work speaks for itself.

As I find myself increasingly without the time or energy to do some of the yardwork I need to do....I will ask: what from your experience is a reasonable price for mulching beds around a ranch-sized house? Just a ballpark estimate.

Stasi is an opportunist. He will charge you as much as you can afford to pay. Watch out for this guy...................
Before you hire anyone, you should ask for references for similar scope of work and make a few phone calls. Anyone can buy a dump truck and some shovels and call themselves a landscaper.

Call Joe Stasi. lives and works here in Town. Very good, very experienced. grew up in the business and knows just what to do. prices are fair, not necessarily "dirt cheap" but well worth it for what you get.
