Hamilton acted as Recording Secretary of the meeting. <br /> <br />MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />Phyllis Bialor, Marie Dey, Warren Perrine, Jay Hansen, Howard Zogott and Rosemary Seghatoleslami. <br /> <br /> NON-MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE <br /> <br /> Betty Conover and Christine Smeltzer, Township Administrator. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the August 14, 2007, meeting were reviewed and approved. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION: <br /> <br />Cranbury Senior Community Center <br /> <br /> Room Improvements/Furnishings: <br /> <br />A motion was made by Phyllis; seconded by Marie; all in favor; for Rosemary to purchase the stand that matches the record player. <br /> <br />Kristen will prepare a “Welcome” banner and a “Please Use Rear Entrance” sign. <br /> <br />Kristen will contact Jim Gerberich to see if he has any photos for the bulletin board. Rosemary will contact Betty Wagner for photos. <br /> <br /> Opening Program: <br /> <br />The Board feels that a portable microphone should be available for the opening. Kristen will see if one can be borrowed from Cranbury School. <br /> <br />Rosemary has received RSVPs from Bill Baroni, David Crabiel and Margaret Chester. Declines have been received from Peter Inverso, Freeholder Christopher and Reverend Karin Mitchell. <br /> <br />Marie spoke to Jan Bayern, who will be coming to the opening. <br /> <br />Marie will contact Dunkin Donuts to see if they will donate coffee. Kristen will prepare the solicitation letter and give to Marie. <br /> <br />Rosemary will purchase plates, napkins and forks. <br /> <br />On-Going Programming: <br /> <br />Howard will prepare a programming schedule through the end of the year and make copies for distribution on Cranbury Day. <br /> <br />Phyllis will contact the Senior Living Institute about possible programs. <br /> <br />A piano player is needed for the December 15th Sing-A-Long. <br /> <br />Phyllis will ask Howard about the use of the movie screen. <br /> <br />Cranbury Day <br /> <br /> Rosemary and Phyllis will set-up the table. Warren is available to help at 1:00pm. Marie should be available for clean-up. <br /> <br />Kristen will send an email advising of the table location. <br /> <br />Meeting <br /> <br /> The next meeting of the Human Services Board will be held on September 18, 2007, at 1:00pm. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:50pm. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF SECRETARY <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, do hereby certify: <br /> <br />That I am duly elected and acting secretary of the Cranbury Township Human Services Board and, <br />That the foregoing minutes of the Human Services Board, held on August 30, 2007, consisting of 2 pages, constitute a true and correct copy of the minutes of the said meeting. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed the name of said Human Services Board the _____ day of _______________, 2007. <br />_______________________________ <br /> <br />Kristen H.
