Post subject: Update from Mayor Cook
Fellow Cranbury Residents Please Pass This On To Your Neighbors:
Mayor Cook would like to let everyone know OEM and the utility companies are doing everything possible to restore power and open the roads blocked by trees. In the short term please be aware of downed wires and weakened limbs which still may be falling from trees.
We know many of our residents are eager to start cleanup. Please be aware that many downed wires are live and dangerous.
American Water has stated our water is safe to drink at this time however they have asked residents to conserve water as they are running on back up power.
At this time It is best to still stay safe and inside your homes to allow OEM, utility and public works to clear roads and restore power. Further as of right now Cranbury Townships email notification system for updates are limited as a result electronic communication from the township will be limited in the near term. If you have an emergency call 911.
We will do our best until full electronic communications are back online to push out information via Cranbury.info and Facebook and twitter pages.
