Post subject: Vote for a change in Cranbury
http://eastwindsor.patch.com/groups/opinion/p/vote-for-a-change-in-cranbury
I urge residents in Cranbury to support Tom Connolly for Township Committee. New blood is needed to balance the current committee. Taxes have gone up consistently and many residents are hurting. Even this year, when the rate stayed the same, the ratables (value of all property) was going up which helped increase tax collections, i.e., if your property assessment increased last year with the tax rate staying the same, your tax bill will increase. While the current committee has done some good things, Cranbury also needs restraint on activist policies. The maintenance code was ridiculous. I don’t need the government telling me when to mow my lawn. Tom Connolly will provide the fiscal restraint and balance which is necessary on the current committee.
We also need a change in our Senate. Peter Inverso has the experience to help New Jersey and Cranbury. COAH is not dead, thankfully Chris Christie has kept it at bay, but it is still alive. Remember when an important vote came to Trenton on COAH, despite the fact the her it was not good for her constituents, Linda Greenstein lacked the courage to vote no and go against her party. We need people in Trenton who will support the residents rather than tow the party line.
