Post subject: June 8th and 9th George Washington Cranbury Historical Society Fundraiser
On June 8th the Cranbury Historical Society will be presenting an evening celebrating the 250th anniversary of George Washington's visit to Cranbury. The event runs from 7-10pm will have food, drinks and renactors including Hezekiah Stites, The Marquis de Lafayette and George Washington. The event will be under a tent. The cost is 35 per person. Tickets can be bought on the Historical Society web page.
On June 9th events continue with family fun with ice cream, games and George Washington making a return visit to read a special book for the kids.
It will occur at 53 S Main St where George Washington and his aides met to plan the Battle of Monmouth.
