My favorite lens for my D70s is a Nikon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D. I don't change lens often now mainly because I had dusts on the sensor twice, and it's a pain to get rid of them. I also have an inexpensive AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D, which is a decent lens for indoor portrait shots.
