Does it stipulated that we have to pay this person a specific salary or can we just hire one of the volunteers for a small token fee and includes some benefits?

It just another part of this law which is hurting suburban towns like Cranbury and costing us the taxpayers more of our money.

It's money being wasted when there is a proven, experienced and qualified group of volunteers. It seems there is no desire for volunteers if we can pay people to do the work.

The town has Cranbury Housing Associates who has managed the COAH properties and done so on a VOLUNTEER basis. Our TC now wants to remove this authority and add a new employee to the payroll. This is coming up on the March 30 meeting. We all need to show up and oppose another employee being added on our payroll. If we manage to get rid of Corzine then COAH may go away and we'll be stuck with a employee and cost.
