box elder bugs are different though they are of a similar nuisance and also need to be treated in the fall.

box elder bugs are black with reddish lines on their back. sting bugs are prehistoric looking with a shield shaped back and they can stink.

I have a contract with Arrow and they said the same thing that the fall is the best time to treat them.

I've had them for over 10 months now. Ironically, the live ones seem to be gone now. However, when I clean up, go thru old stuff, etc I am still finding dead ones. I have flushed them when found alive (I know..turn me in to PETA!).

I talked to Cooper Pest and they said best time to treat is in the fall when they come into your home to nest. In the spring they are now 'waking up' and moving out. Hopefully they will leave your house soon.

Good luck...and goodbye to the stink bugs!

I know this topic was discussed a while ago....

I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing what I think are stink bugs in their house again? I have talked to a few other people in cranbury and they said they have been getting them also. We are getting ready for the yard sale next saturday and there were some in our attic. Anyone know how to get rid of these things? Its not fun to pick up an old picture and find one of these bugs behind it... Smile
