But according to Township Committee Member Richard Stannard, she was heroic for abstaining on COAH. He even felt compelled to praise her for it on the official Township record.

Linda Greenstein now wants the Senate seat being vacated by Bill Baroni. We don't need anyone representing us who supports wasteful programs yet abstains when it comes to important issues like COAH.
Ban-ner idea

I can save the state a bunch of money right now! I'll bet the study is going to say that these poor inmates are just a bunch of misunderstood good hearted guys who have never really been given the chance to succeed. If only we had more expansive, expensive, state-run programs to offer them, we could make it all better. Yay!

Save money. Bring back banishment.

What is she doing? Creating jobs, balancing the states budget and affordable housing are a little more important then this stuff. Are we sure Cranbury Sauce did not write this?

To quote Greenstein said. "It is really the equivalent of a study group."

New Jersey Lawmakers Approve Bill To Study Inmates

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) ―

A new measure approved by the Assembly Judiciary Committee on Monday would create a panel to study characteristics of the New Jersey inmate population.

The Blue Ribbon Panel to Review New Jersey's Inmate Policy would analyze prison inmates by race, length of incarceration and participation in prison educational and vocational programs, among other obtainable data.

Chairwoman Linda Greenstein said the bill cuts language from an earlier version that would have allowed the review of individual prisoners, addressing fears by some members of the public that inmates could be granted shorter sentences or earlier paroles.
