Cranbury has rights to much of the land already; most of the other land belongs to a local farmer, Donny Paterson. He has graciously agreed to let us walk across his land for this walk. The land is a beautiful treasure that most people do not know exists. <br /> <br />This project has been in planning for many years but not completed. Members of the Cranbury Township Committee (Win Cody and Pari Stave, our Mayor) and Tom Weidner, chair of the Parks Commission want to help make this a reality. Also, the Helene Cody Foundation is supporting this project and many of Helene’s friends will be walking and seeing what help they can provide to see the trail become a reality. <br /> <br />This event is open to the community so please invite your friends and family. We hope to see many of you attend as this will show the support we need to continue working on the trail. <br /> <br />We will be meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot by the soccer fields behind the Cranbury School. The trail is about 2.5 - 3 miles.
