Most good auto insurance policies now include roadside assistance. When you use this service it is not considered a claim – just an additional service the policy offers - check it out

I hate to claim anything on my car insurance...premiums go up so easily. Then I would be paying more than the $100-200 for AAA.

Good insurance policies now cover roadside assistance. Paying AAA for the same service, especially $100-200 a year seems a bit much. Get with the program

Thank you everyone for your help. I called AAA to get it towed to Georges, but they said they might be able to fix it. They sent their AAA service truck and it turned out to be my battery. They changed it in my driveway. WOW - what service.

My vote goes to George's not just for service and price (both good), but also for the fact that they are open to 10pm -- easy to get there to pick up/drop off after work -- kids' errands, etc.

I have been going to Paul’s for nearly 15 years. I’ve had some real clunkers back when, but they always kept them running - very smart mechanics at reasonable prices. . Butch and Dennis really know their stuff with my newer cars now. My kids still come back to Cranbury to get their cards serviced at Paul’s (they came back to see their loving parents also, of course)
Anyway, a strong endorsement for Paul’s

I am still - and have been going for 10 years - over to Princeton Station Garage. Dave is the man, and it's convenient if you ride the train.

Saw the recommendations for George's Garage here. Car had a nail in one of the tires yesterday. Took it to George's for repair this morning. In and out about 15 minutes. Paid $15 plus tax. Great service!

I have found that George's is trustworthy and affordable. I won't go anywhere else.
I vote for Georges.

George's garage is very good. They are also very honest. I took my Jeep there after one mechanic quoted me a very expensive repair. I told George's of the issue upfront and then thought to myself "uh oh I'll likely get the same feedback and a high price". They called me and said that the repair I was told about prior was unnecessary and that what was wrong was something relatively minor. They repaired it quickly and the price was very fair.
On one other occasion they could not fit me in for an emergency repair. I took my car to the Exxon on old Cranbury Rd and 130. They were fast and also fair.

I used Paul's Auto repair before (if you traveling on Rt-130 South, they are between the BP gas station and the intersection of Old Trenton Rd.).
The price is ok (not the cheapest), but they get the job done. Sometimes you do need to leave your car there for a day or two if the problem is tough.

Does anyone know of a good trust worthy car repair place? My Ford SUV won't start and I think it is the starter. Never had a problem with it before and I might have to get it towed to a repair shop.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
