I think there needs to be a serious discussion with a reality check with the prosecutors office. The family would like him to be arrested and put on trial for her murder. It has been almost 30 years since her murder. There was almost no forensics at the scene. As I recall, she was found wrapped in a carpet that she was apparently killed on(thus no blood in the house). Main suspect was the boyfriend. No blood, no fibers, no case. By the time her body was found, her parents had died and the suspect had moved far out of state. <br /> <br />The complaint at the time was the case was too complicated for local law enforcement. Now they would have brought in state and possibly federal forensics teams.
