I have a number of thoughts. First, I think it's great that the Republican Party organizes speakers. I do think as the prior poster noted it can be useful to get ideas. I would feel the same if the Democratic Party could organize things. So from that standpoint: - What is the attendance of current TC members? If the purpose is to educate and offer ideas it seems independent of party the current TC should be encouraged to attend. This way the goal if informing people is met. - what is the Mayor going to speak about? Will it be what They are seeing and doing or is it more about broader issues in NJ? Franklin Twp is dramatically different than Cranbury so I would be interesting to know what topic is common between the two towns that can help us avoid problems or do things differently. Lastly, I think last year's primary showed that turnout and votes cast are meaningless come the general election when independents vote. However, one in the primary can select their best choice for the general election. So to say campaign season is starting early based on a meeting really isn't important. Though, I am curious to see if signs appear from either party this week.
What is this mayor going to speak about? Who really cares, this is an obvious policital stunt by the republicans. Actual Cranbury is mostly unaffiliated then Drmocrat then Republican. Dems overtook Reps maybe 5-10 years ago.

I appreciate him speaking. If you don't care to read the announcement or come to the event that is your choice. Posting as you are doing just shows your ignorance and lack of social skills.
Go away troll.

It isn't my event, but I am sure you would be welcome.
I wouldn't copnsider it campaigning really. If someone from a neighboring town has significant good ideas, or pitfalls to avoid from how they conduct business, I think it would be prudent to hear what Mr Levine has to say.
Regardless of your political position, its always good to listen in my opinion.

And the republicans starting the campaigning early this year I see.
So me being an independent, maybe a little left, am I invited to come to this and express my opinion?
