Where did you get the notion that the minutes of a meeting are supposed to be a verbatim transcript of what was said? No one does that with minutes. You are confusing it with a transcript.

Post subject: Re: Tape of Rec Meeting
Well, the one real good soccer field is being torn up by non-residents who play when the field is wet and don't care. As a resident who sees this regularly on old Trenton Rd I am annoyed that my tax dollars get wasted. At the same time, I watched a group play once with my child and had a nice conversation. So for me it's just a courtesy issue.
If people didn't play when it was bad for the field I don't see an issue. Further, why should we care as residents if we try to manage damage from non-residents they don't live here and I see plenty of things that are resident only here and in other towns. I know a few kids who were basically kicked off a field because a larger group of non-residents showed up and took over. Now is that right?
I don't know how a farmer could help. I do know requiring field reservations for games would help and not for just a parent and child playing. Just set a process where a pick up game has to call town hall. If they so no to conditions then no game. If they say yes then they who called first get the field.
Minutes aren't verbatim accounts, but a synopsis. Where did you get a recording? I never saw or heard that for Rec, can you please post the link?

Post subject: Tape of Rec Meeting
Has anyone else heard the tape of the most recent Rec Commission meeting. It seems that the liasion from the Committeee has some thoughts about using a prominent farmer to eliminate the non Cranbury residents from using our fields. It seems like IMO he has lost his mind and is putting us all in serious legal jepoardy. Maybe the Mayor should have a closed session meeting before the press gets a hold of this! You can be sure it won't be in the minutes, but it sure should be verbatim if the secretary was doing her job!
