Democrat Richard Stannard finished with 576 votes and Arthur Hasselbach, the lone Republican on the ballot, received 568 votes. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hasselbach, who served on the Township Committee several years ago, had a five-vote lead before absentee ballots were counted. Mr. Hasselbach was outpolled in absentee ballots 28-15.
