Post subject: Re: 8% NJ unemployment higher then national average
Want a great job with great benefits???????????????????
Become a politician!
Once you get in the retention rate for incumbents is over 90%!
The salary is okay, but the graft from the back-end can be fantastic. Sometimes, the benefits can last forever, and if you do lose your job you can always work for one of your patrons in the private sector who owes you big time for passing all that legislation which padded his/her pockets in the first place. The revolving door between public "service" and private cronyism will always favor the ambitious among us. So, get out there and work hard and don't be lazy, for fortune favors the sneaky.
