Now, we're seeing the TC vote to issue a bond for 177,000 to do capital improvements? How come the town could not account for this money during the budget cycle instead of creating debt and causing more long term obligations? Seems like we're saying watch this hand while the other digs in my wallet. If they raised taxes this would be a one cent increase to cover. Why couldn't they strip the expense out during the budget process?
