Post subject: Re: Christie pulls another one over on New Jerseyans
I guess one can find a way to put a negative spin on just about anything.
Not sure any other governor would have done differently in my opinion.
Seems like the right thing to do, fill the vacancy.
Sad to see Sen Lautenberg pass, but life and governement must go on.

Post subject: Christie pulls another one over on New Jerseyans
http://m.njea.org/blogs/2013/june/christies-blunder
..his decision to hold a special election on Oct. 16 to fill the U.S. Senate vacancy following the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg is the height of hypocrisy, and an insult to everyone’s intelligence.
Christie’s claim that having a separate election just 20 days before the Nov. 5 election is necessary in order to give New Jerseyans elected representation as quickly as possible is pure political smoke, and everyone knows it.
