It's what towns do, they shift with a times a bit. " Change is not always positive. Sometimes doing nothing is the best option, if the proposed change makes things worse.

It is June even if the town had approved you couldn't do anything this year. So form privately, work for the next six months and show your value. However, the way the Indivisible group went after the one person who is up for election and said No to you does not give a warm and fuzzy feeling. You say there is nothing to be afraid of, but when someone dissents you go after them like it is World War 3. Your actions don't hold up to your message.

The CRC side is just as closed minded. Shouting that a CRC is a must is not the way. The TC offered a forum as a private group and full TC support as the historical society, landmarks and other entities. The CRC view was all or nothing. It must only be an official board or commission with a budget. The TC met half way, try it see if it works, see if you want to remain private and come back in a year or two. If successful we can discuss making it official. There is no legal way to fund it this year anyway as the budget is already adopted. Instead the CRC has wasted time fighting and going after Jay and Glenn. Instead of finding a solution, they went on the attack.

This is not going to go away until everyone can speak respectfully and listen openly to each other. There is a greater shift in the world, towards recognizing that others' experiences, may be different that ours. Cranbury needs to evolve too. We must learn to care and listen to the perspective of others.
