Are high schoolers not supposed to participate?</td> </tr></table><span class="postbody"> <br /> <br />Not the OP, but if the high schoolers they get are anything like the ones we get, many of them don't wear costumes and some don't even have bags. They don't even say trick or treat, they just stand there with their hand out waiting for me to pass them a Reese's cup so that they can eat it walking down my driveway and throw the wrapper in my bushes. <br /> <br />Now, I realize that all high schoolers are NOT like this, but the majority of the kids who show up after 8pm ARE. I don't turn off my lights or refuse them candy, I prefer to get as much of the candy stash as possible out of mt house. God knows I don't need a bucket of chocolate lurking on top of my fridge. But it's something I've noticed a lot the past few years, and I don't blame people who don't want to give out candy to kids who can't even throw on a mask or dig a pillowcase out of the linen closet. <br /> <br />Rant over.
