This is a COMMENT board, putzy!
It's for making comments on.
If ya don'ts likes the comments, ya doesn't gots ta reads 'em.
You seem to be under the impression that just because you can do something that makes it okay. So if you're at a bar does that mean you flirt with anyone you want even if your married? Because it's a bar and that's what you do at a bar, right?
Are you seriously that dumb? You certianly have the right to comment on this COMMUNITY board, but that doesn't mean it's cool. Of course we can ignore them, just as you could have ignored the post when you didn't have anything to say that was topical to the question. Even on comment boards its considered bad netiquette to go off topic. The OP didn't ask for opinions on his/her picture hanging skills, just referrals to handmen.
It just makes you look like an ass, which is probably accurate.
What?
If you're married you can't flirt?
What boring planet are you from again?

Scooter, at least you're consistent. You've developed quite a brand as an obnoxious uber-liberal d-bag with no substance. Good luck with that. I hear you can leverage that into a bag of schwag weed and a date with a fat girl who reeks of pachuli. You're so cool!
And you're one of those people that turn everything political. Where did this loser declare themselves a liberal or are is that your asusmption for anyone you don't like? That's as overly judgmental as the troll was in the first place.
Actually, if you look at scooter's other posts, you'll see I'm right. I am a "liberal" on several issues, but I'm not blind. Scooter is an uber-liberal @ss who posts obnoxiously uber-liberal crap on virtually every thread regardless of topic. Check it out.
What kind of loser-idiot has time to check out EVERY post by someone, and then analyze it to death?
You need a girlfriend, or boyfriend, or whatever floats yer boat.
Sorry, but, it's time to get a life!

I still think it's funny that YOU need to put someone down on this board, you must be a sad and friendless person.
So....then YOU must have no friends and be sad according to your post. You did the same thing, put someone down. YOU must be a horrible person also.

I find it amazing how this board has downgraded. I have a senior grandmother who is 90 years old, but likes to keep her home pristine. It is not uncommon for her to hire someone to hang a picture or a shelf since we live away from her. There are many circumstances where I can think of someone needing help.
The fact that a question is met with all these negative responses really tells me about where this town has gone or how many HS and elementary kids we have posting here.
I don't want to blame this on kids. I think we have some very mean spirited adults who get there jollies out of insulting people on line. There seem to be two on this thread. One who is insulting and another who blames all insults on liberals. I do agree with your main point. This board has really degraded.

And you know this particular "guest" is scooter, how? Again, you're just attributing any post you don't like to your little nickname and thorwing in the assumption that bad posters are automatically "ultra-liberal". This particular topic has nothing to do with politics. It was supposed to be a simple request for people to helpfully post some names and phone #. Not a single person did. Instead some troll turned it into some insultfest and now you used it as a chance to try an turn it political.

Funny you should mention that old cliche because you're actually making several assumptions about the OP and their situation. So you're effectively declaring yourself an ass. Good work. We can agree on that.
I know that you are.
But, what am I, proverbially speaking?
I am a butyl-latex rubber substance,
but, you indeed, are glue.
Whatever you may say,
bounces off of me, you see,
and it, invariably, sticks to you.
Sticks and rather large, but not terribly huge stones,
may, quite seriously, break my bones,
but names, from inane drones,
may never hurt me.
