I thought that the gop didn't believe in that stuff???????
They HATE welfare except when they're the recipients!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you even read this article or see the checklist already? I dont understand your point, but Christie is not like other politician's, did you see his last press brief yesterday ?

How much consolidation is enough?
Do you consolidate SO much that your town loses its identity and gets absorbed into another municipality?
Maybe you don't care about that little nugget!
Christie et al, also screwed the pooch on that Race to the Top money.
Try to keep up and pay attention.

While I at times have issue with Christie this checklist is a good thing. It ensures that the towns who are working toward reform are rewarded. Under Corzine we continued to receive less aid and get more spending mandates.

I recall reading on this board, last Autumn, about how Christie was going to fix Corzine's mistakes and what a great choice he was for Gov.
