Yes and that is why we need Dan and Jay to get elected. We need a TC concerned about costs and approach to costs. They are the only candidates who have consistently shown ideas and taken a stance that has not changed.

How can we talk of purchasing anything without the funds to pay for it?? The town is in debt, as is the County, State and Federal Government. At some point our leadership must do their job and stop spending tax money they don't have....

Maybe because when you are negotiating a deal with someone you don't want to have a public discussion of your strategy (i.e., how much you are REALLY willing to pay).
No land can actually be bought without an open hearing of the terms of the deal and the negotiating that happened.

Post subject: Township Committee meeting (7pm @ Cranbury School Large Group Room)
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2009 will be moved from the main meeting room in Town Hall to the Cranbury School Large Group Meeting Room (behind Town Hall).
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that although the meeting will begin a 7:00 p.m. as previously advertised, the Township Committee will immediately go into executive (closed) session for the purpose of discussing the following item: “N.J.S.A. 10:4-12 (b) (5) /Land Acquisition: Discussion of possible land acquisition for affordable housing and other purposes.”
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Township Committee will return to open session and begin with the remainder of its agenda at 7:30 p.m. Included on the agenda will be a discussion with Cranbury residents regarding traffic issues.
