If you enjoy great Jazz music, be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 PM. There will be a "live" performance by the "Pierre Dujue Jazz Quartet" at Teddy's Restaurant on Main Street. There is no cover charge and Teddy's is a BYOB establishment. Teddy's has a great menu and super specials.

The quartet will feature non-other than Pierre Dujue (former Cranbury Cobbler owner) whom many of you know. Pierre will be on saxophone. Pierre recently closed his shop doors after 23 years in the business. If you haven't heard Pierre perform before, you must drop by to say hello and experience his soulful sound.

Another member of the group will be Bill Zane (longtime Teddy's regular). Bill will be on drums. Bill was once the drummer of The Magnatones, who performed at Teddy's last year. The Magnatones were the resident house band at the old Emerald Room in Wildwood during the early 60's.

Last but not least, is the very talented husband and wife duo of Darla (bass) and Rich (guitar) Tarpinian. Darla and Rich regularly perform on their own at venues across New Jersey.

The evening promises to be filled with classic jazz tunes and a pleasant mix of contemporary music. Also planned is the appearance of two prominent local jazz singers, who are expected to join the quartet for a few numbers.

Please come out and celebrate local talent and be sure to support "live" music ...
