It is ugly as can be. I drove that way from Main Street this weekend a few times. They planted trees / I am sure they will plant more, the same thing will happen there that happened with other warehouses. Look at the Audi/VW one. Lots of trees around it. 10-15 years from now you won't see the building. Sorry for the inconvenience, yes it sucks.

Only way to stop warehouses from being built is to buy less stuff.

It is zoned for this use. Participate in the master plan process if you feel it shouldn't be. You speak for you... if you can get many others to agree that "we don't want or need" it, then you can say "we". The master plan and current zoning suggest that this is not the community view[/quote] No I'm sorry I say WE since I mean WE. Is that hard for you to understand zoned-0542?

It has to do because warehouse and commercial has always been part of our planning.

We do need warehouses because they reduce our taxes. With the cost of affordable housing and all the other expenses you need commerical taxes.

Unless you a riding in helicopter, that is a lie. It can't been until you are nearly at route 130. For the sake of quality, discussion can we please abandon the shameless exaggerating.

Also, that is what it is zoned. You should brought this up regarding it zoning designation years ago. It way too late now.

Also, please keep in mind that one of the biggest reasons why our taxes are so affordable is that we have those industrial warehouse paying property taxes without then utilizing many public services (schools, etc).

There has been warehouses on that side of route 130 since before most of us lived here. Get used to it.
I guess they have been for you new people, but not I. Furthermore if you can't see that ugly building as soon as you turn on Station rd you should not be driving, as you are a danger to everyone.

Warehouses and commercial are a part of our planning and have been. We helped Carter Wallace come in and we had the Jamesway warehouse.

It would be great to still have farmland, but better warehouse than residential.

You can't seriously be judging it's visibility during construction? Be serious. When this one is done it will be no more or less visible than its next door neighbor. It will have similar landscaping and will barely be visible from Route 130, let alone Main Street. If you're going to look for a reason to complain at least say something credible.

The fact that the grungiest part of Route 130 from start to finish (No. Brunswick to Burlington, etc.) happens to be (at least 85%) the length of Cranbury Twp. is a bigger drawback. I know we can't compete with areas in "Mediterranean" climates when it comes to highway landscaping, but...

The other one in not visible from main st. I know what was zoned east of 130. The problem is that it's absolutely hideous and will bring in more traffic, noise, and crime.
