If there's a microchip it's placed between the shoulder blades or the back of the neck. You need a scanner to find it. I know we have one at Cranbury Animal Hospital on Rte. 130 (I'm one of the vets there). Most vets or shelters have scanners nowadays. Just another good reason to consider microchipping your pet!

Thanks - I'll check the post office. He runs away when we get close but then always comes back. Where would microchip be?

I thought I saw a sign yesterday near the post office.....
See if he has a microchip - you can get that done at the vet or a shelter
