Look at this post and when it was made, and think of where we are now.
Can anyone seriously say the Dems, Obama, and others that have exploded the size and spending of our government are not at fault here of doing just that.
I love it when politicians blatantly lie, put spin, deny, and say the absolute opposite of the reality, as was in this case.
Which previous post are you referring to? The one directly above yours in this ancient topic that you resurrected got it right, neither party wants or makes any effort for small government or less spending. The Republican Party has created most of our debt and only makes efforts to balance the budget when Democrats are in office. The rest of the time they believe in debt and large budget increases. Democrats have made the only successful effort in over 3 decades to balance the budget when Clinton was in office and they believe in big spend too. And both believe in massive government and military industrial complexes. They may favor different line items and different types of laws, but they both love to spend and love to make laws that restrict liberties. It's not about which party is "better" or more interested in debt reduction, they both get an F.

LOL.
What a bunch of silly nonsense.
I always find it amusing when someone tries to sell the fantasy that the Republican Party is about "small government" when they haven spent the last 30 years dramatically increasing federal spending and creating most of our national debt. They are the debt-and-spend party, hardly the ones to lecture about fiscal conservatism.
Tax and spend
Borrow and spend

Wake up pinhead!
Taxes go up no matter whom you elect.
I've hardly ever seen them go down.
They just change who gets taxed from time to time.
They give everyone a turn.
But, they rarely EVER go down!

keep your mouth shut? My my aren't we touchy. To reiterate what the poster above me said. With the Republicans spending goes up and so does the debt. We had a balanced budget until 2001. You could argue about the spending priorities, but the budget was balanced. Then the republicans cut taxes and went into two different wars, thus exploding the budget deficit.
Seven years of deficit spending help lead to the economic melt down of 2008. Obama got elected and then, only then, Republicans started to complain about the deficit. Now that the economy was crippled they are suddenly against the deficit, after seven years of massive deficit spending.
Now that I got that our of my system, I fail to see what any of this has to do with Jay Taylor.

Was this your lame way of re-posting your headline from a month ago?
Or were you hoping to remind the voters of Cranbury that Jay Taylor refuses to be the lapdog of the local teaparty and their pro-consolidation agenda?

Friend --
Supporters like you from Middlesex County are getting together on Wednesday, May 23rd, for a strategy session. I hope you can be there.
What happens at these meetings is driven by the folks who show up -- because you know your community best, and you have the best ideas for how to get your neighbors excited and engaged in this election.
That's the whole idea: Volunteers gather to plan out how to build our organization and make sure we're going strong into November -- from discussing when and how to take action, to putting together outreach materials, to thinking through the crucial next steps for Middlesex County.
I guarantee there will be friendly faces -- folks who live in and around Middlesex Conty who want to see the same kind of progress you do, and who will be glad you showed up.
Sound good? Here are the details:
What: Middlesex County strategy session
Where: OFA-NJ headquarters
542 Georges Road
Second Floor
North Brunswick, NJ 08902
When: Wednesday, May 23rd
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
