There are 2 regular attendees at the township meetings, and I would bet that neither one posted the previous few comments. I’m never shocked how ignorant posters are on this site or how quick they are to make judgements without obtaining facts. Maybe those who are so quick to criticize would simply attend some (just some) township meetings, they might actually learn something. Before those who post such comments respond, I am not on the township committee nor am I currently on any township board. |

Looking at SADC annual reports Cranbury preserved nothing in recent years, which is truly disappointing as all candidates always run on preserving Open Space |

With Jay, Glenn, Dan being the drivers behind all of this and Glenn promising ratables, ratable, ratables prior to the last time he was elected, it wouldn't surprise me if they low-balled the offer to have the developer buy the land to work out a deal for Petty Road. It all happened very quickly for sure. |

Maybe the township should have offered more. No downside? Well... Let's see what the impact is in a few years when the residents there will decide to cast their vote on an increase in school budget which will come with all the new development in town which will bring surely an increase in the number of Cranbury school kids above and beyond the max we have ever had. |

The bottom line is Mr. Monroe Mayor can't restrict traffic! He also cannot force us to rezone. Monroe lost their way and failed to properly plan and preserve farmland years ago. Cranbury did think things through and planned for the future which is now by preserving farmland and zoning the east of 130 warehouses.
The owner of any property can't be forced to lose his investment in the land he owns to please another town so it really is a dead issue.
Both Jay and Mr. Monroe Mayor should just let this issue die a natural death. ITS OVER!!! and nothing is going to change the zoning.Warehouses will be on the site and too bad for the homeowners in Monroe who failed to do their Due Diligence before they bought their homes. |

Are you seriously calling the republican candidates for township committee “racists science deniers”?
If so, that’s messed up. Go see a doctor. You have problems. |

There are two things in play here. 1. The Mayor of Monroe is way way off base by stating that he will stop traffic on the roads. He cannot legally change the traffic patterns.1a. the residents in Monroe did not do their Due Diligence before buying their properties to see what the zoning was adjacent to their properties.
2. The Protinik family was not offered a fair market value for their property by Cranbury as were other previous political figures who owned substantial agricultural acreage.
3. If for some strange reason the Republican Committee members want to donate their 401K's or IRA's to the effort then let them make that donation to the township. The Protiniks should not have been asked to make a donation to the township as their retirement for 100 years of agricultural work was in the value of their property. They earned every cent in sweat equity! |

Funny or dangerous? Two Indivisible candidates are running for Township Committee and Two are already on the Committee. Can you imagine what will happen if our township starts making decisions based on complete ignorance of the facts? |

So this article is from 2016. I recently stopped in Protinick’s farm stand on Dey road, and received quite a different story. |
