Mayor Stout stated until everyone can sit down and work out the problem (as everyone is of a different opinion); he sees no reason to move forward with the project. The Rec Board would like a copy of the specifications; they want to look at them. Ms. Stave requested consideration be given to her being the Liaison to the Rec Commission. Mayor Stout recommended this be discussed at the Township Committee meeting on Monday, September 22, 2008. Ms. Marcelli offered the bid specifications are on file with the Clerk. Resolution On motion offered by Ms. Stave, seconded by Mr. Stannard, the following resolution was adopted by vote: ... RESOLUTION TO CLOSE MEETING TO THE PUBLIC ... On motion by Ms. Stave, seconded by Mr. Panconi and unanimously carried, the meeting returned to Open Session. Mr. Stannard asked Mr. Van Hise, Township Attorney, he has been told that the Library plans on diminishing the hours that the public will be allowed to use the Library so that the children will not be in any danger and if the Library is allowed to do so without any discussion with the Township Committee. Mr. Stannard added he feels it needs to be discussed before the Library unilaterally decides to shut down for three (3) hours in the middle of the day. Mr. Van Hise responded the Library has its own Board of Directors and will research the question and get back to him.
