Why? We don’t have the apartment and condo complexes of other areas who have dog parks. Why not just take your dogs into your backyard like I do and toss a ball. then walk them. Dogs are not kids. They don’t need play dates and you don’t know if the other dogs are vaccinated. Why waste more money on things we don’t need.

That is a shame.
Perhaps like other nearby towns we should have a fenced in dog area in the park.

May 8, 2020 - Cranbury Township Office of Emergency Management - COVID 19 Update
Alert: Weekly COVID-19 case update:
Since last Friday’s update, Cranbury Township has been notified of three (3) additional positive cases. These three additional cases bring Cranbury’s new total to thirty-three (33).
NJ State Parks and Forests remain open in accordance with NJ Executive Order #133. The Order also opens County Parks to the public, except any Parks closed by the County prior to Executive Order #118. This will treat County Parks the same way as Municipal Parks; the locality gets to determine whether they are open or closed.
County and Municipal Parks that remain open must abide by the restrictions placed on State Parks. The Order also opens golf courses with social distancing policies and restrictions.
In addition, Cranbury Village Park tennis courts will be open effective Saturday May 9, 2020. However, Cranbury Elementary School property and tennis courts remain closed at this time.
As we now begin to see restrictions gradually lifted, we remind our residents to continue to practice social distancing, wear masks where social distancing cannot be maintained and continue common sense hygiene.
