Between May 11 and Wednesday, bandits looted jewelry, a safe and electronics from homes on North Main Street, Cranbury Neck Road, and one home in Cranbury Green, police said.
Police are asking for help in finding those responsible for three residential burglaries that occurred in the past week.
Police said the bandits forced their way into two of the homes, and stole jewelry, a safe and electronics between May 11 and Wednesday.
Police Chief Jay Hansen said there is no evidence that the incidents were related. However, he said the community should be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
"If they see something, by all means call the police right away," Chief Hansen said Thursday. "Anything that strikes you as being unusual."
The first burglary occurred at a North Main Street home while the owners were away, between 4:45 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Chief Hansen said. When the owners returned they noticed that the motor to the garage door opener was running but the door was not open, Chief Hansen said. The intruders gained entry by forcing open the side door and a window, both of which had been locked, police said. The residents reported that jewelry and a safe were taken, but police did not know the value of either, Chief Hansen said.
