I heard that a wawa is approved to be built on the old Cheney property at the corner of main and old Trenton rd ?? Also that there will be a traffic light at washinton dr and old Trenton when the millstone park entrance gets moved.

I think someone is pulling your leg. There was no mention of a light Monday night and the county would not want a light so close to another light (one mile rd). Plus as the town's traffic consultant said last year there was not enough cars exiting and entering at that point to justify a light.

On Cheney's I have not seen any Wawa application come before the Zoning, DRC or PB and I read all the agenda's and minutes.

go to Croc a deli - it's a close convenient store. Teddy's has milk too - not sure about eggs.

If Cranbury needs a convenience store so badly, why isn't there one in any of the available spaces zoned for retail? Why do people who know the c-store business avoid Cranbury? Is it because there isn't enough local business to support it?

They avoid Cranbury because Cranbury makes starting and owning a business very expensive

Perhaps the tide has changed. The complaints I've heard about Blue Rooster, the new flower shop and Gil & Berts is the township has been too accommodating.

Only the BR got a sweetheart deal. They must have known someone to be able to pull off a restaurant with no parking. Since then, that part of Main Street has become more and more difficult to park at. Its not what you know, its who you know.
