There was never a problem until East Windsor asked Mercer County for a light. Now it backs up all the time. I travel that road every day for 10 years. The were some accidents here and there, but not a lot. The backups were never bad either. Now forget it. I wish EW had told us Cranbury that they wanted this and asked us before going on their own. |

Can township police issue speeding tickets on Old Trenton Road? Does the ticket revenue go to Cranbury township? If so, maybe we can ask township to increase police presence on the road so the township can get some additional revenue. |

Yes police can issue tickets, no revenue goes to Plainsboro. |

I never understood why Cranbury pays Plainsboro over 100k a year plus Plainsboro keeps all the ticket revenue.
I think Plainsboro gets all the State Police Revenue from the Turnpike also from what I have heard.
I guess all that money is not needed?
On a side note, I saw a couple of cars getting tickets on OTR yesterday. |

Why not contract with Plainsboro for all police services? |
